![]() ![]() The issue tends to pop up mostly when I turn on the laptop or wake it up from sleep, but it goes away randomly, sometimes after hours of use, other times within minutes. When I first got the laptop I tweaked some settings in Throttlestop for better performance but I haven't used it since and I doubt it is related. Finally I decided to reset windows and see if it would fix the issue but unfortunately it did not. I tried some quick fixes like updating drivers, restarting countless times, going through BIOS settings, changing power options, disabling hibernation, uninstalling software, disabling GPU, to no avail. ![]() Under no load it would go up to 6k RPM while the other fans wouldn't even spin or stay at a normal 2k RPM. I have an issue with my MSI GS65 8RE laptop. About 4 months ago I one of the fans (I believe the CPU one) started revving up and down randomly. ![]()
